My name is Jonathan Jones and I’m from Moreno Valley California. I studied psychology at Life Pacific University (2019) and have plethora of ministry experience starting from when I volunteered in children’s ministry at the age of eleven.
I’m a follower of Jesus and have been since I gave my life to Him at a fourth of July service when I was eight years old. My heart behind worship is to glorify Him first and foremost with my life and song and then teach others to do the same. We are all created to worship and I value the opportunities I get to worship with my brothers and sisters in Christ whenever and however long I can.
What's a healing moment or testimony with Jesus that drives your heart to grow others?
In 2019 during my senior year of college, I got seriously ill with three consecutive cases of throat viruses that left me debilitated, quarantined and almost costing me my semester and my voice. However, God healed me and I was able to rely on Him like never before. My worship and relationship with God deepened during that time and I believe it drives me to grow others. To help them realize God is healer and to seek to live daily as true worshipers of Christ.

Favorite thing about nature?
o The freedom and beauty it often conveys whenever I find myself in nature. Also, the fact that I can listen to a familiar song (or any emotionally compelling song) and walk in nature and it combines for a powerful experience that often leaves me speechless and in awe of God.
o Basketball through and through!
o Hard one, I would have to say Superman ultimately and I also appreciate Captain America, Black Panther, and the Scarlet Witch
Favorite movie or movie genre?
o One of my all-time favorite movies is a comedy called “Mad Money” about three women who rob a federal bank and find a way to improve their lives with the “throw-a-way” money the bank has in plenty. It’s a hilarious caper I would never dream of doing and yet, it get me every time I watch it. Other than that, my go to movie genre is sports-true stories or music-true stories.
