Steve grew up in Portland, Oregon. He and his wonderful wife Cheri has 3 grown children and 12 grandchildren. Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Portland State University as well as pilot training from a local flight school. He has been pilot in the airline industry for 25 years and retired early in 2005 to be more involved in mission work.

Steve has a desire to see people “step out” in faith and trust God on the mission field.  Short term missions create an experience where people “catch” the vision for reaching beyond their comfort zone and fulfilling the “Great Commission”.

Testimonial from Pastor Steve:

"I was 11 years old when I gave my life to Jesus and it was transformational to my young life.  A year later I was filled with the Holy Spirit and my faith was greatly boosted.  This knowledge that God loves me so much has propelled me to consecrate my life to Him and have the purpose of bringing others to Him."
