South Sudan Foursquare
Church Planting. Leadership Development. Humanitarian Aid.
Marysville Foursquare has been sending teams to Sudan since 2009, before the independence of South Sudan in 2013. Due to the ethnic tribal warfare, a humanitarian crisis of more than 2 million refugees fled to neighboring countries. M4 has brought several teams to minister in the refugee camps in Uganda, planting churches, supporting orphans, and  training leaders. IN the past year many refugees are returning to South Sudan, as Bishop Charles, the Foursquare National Leader in South Sudan, was instrumental in brokering a peace deal between the government and rebel forces. In January 2023 Pastor Aaron and Abram Dentel returned to South Sudan. Many of these brand new churches are filled with partial or total orphans and many widows.  M4 is assisting with a pilot program of planting and harvesting 16 acres of crops to feed the hungry and sell to support the work of the churches.  Foursquare South Sudan, although young, small, hurting and needy, has a vision of becoming a mission sending church and supplying resources to neighboring nations in need.  Our vision is to walk with them as a sister church family and encourage them to grow into all the God has destined for them.  To this end we send monthly support towards the work of training leaders, evangelism, and church planting, as well as some humanitarian projects.

At the request of Foursquare Missions International, Pastor Aaron serves as a Foursquare Emissary to South Sudan.  He is planning a trip in January and June of 2024.  Resources he hopes to bring on every  trip are: 1.Solar Powered Sound systems for churches without electricity 2.Instruments and microphones 3.Fire Bibles and Children's Ministry Bibles 4.Discipleship & Leadership  Materials.     If you would like to partner with us in a one-time or monthly gift towards our partnership, you can give here, select missions and South Sudan.
